Hello everyone this is my very first essay in this platform.I have lots of choices what about writing but I choose Berlin at first. Because that city means to me a lot. Let’s start…

I am 22 years old student from Turkey and I lived in Berlin for 6 months last year. I went there for my education but I don’t want to talk about education I want to talk about the city.As everybody knows Berlin is the capital city of Germany and at the same time Berlin is the biggest city of Germany. As I said I lived there for 6 months still I could not see every part of the city.

That photo a little away from Wannsee but the places are almost similar.

I want continue with details of the city. First of all the city have different districts for me. Let’s start with my living town Wannsee. Wannsee is a place a little far away from the city but if you have a car it isn't that much far. I am not sure about it but Wannsee is the greenest part of the city I guess. There is a lake called “Wannsee” and around that lake there are lots of threes, grasses, places for sitting. If you are going to Berlin for a long period then you should see Wannsee smell the fresh air around the lake and If it is summer or not that cold then you should walk through the lakeside.

Let’s continue with another part of the city. Our next station or in German we say “nächste Station” is Zoologischer Garten. First of all that name comes from the Zoo which is in that part of the city. I think Zoologischer Garten is the one of the best part of the city because it is really central and you can do anything you want. There are different shops and fast food restaurants around that part also there is a historical church if you want to visit. My favourite fast food locations are in the Zoologischer Garten. It is not a list from good to bad because it depends on taste. But I have 3 advices for you first one is “Burger Meister” it is a really famous fast food restaurant in Germany and they have really good burgers. Second one is also a burger place called “Jim Block” in my opinion Jim Block’s fries are better than Burger Meister and last one is “Zaddy’s” döner shop. If you don’t want to lose time with eating something than you can go to Zaddy’s and buy a Döner-Box. You can eat while you walking around.

Our next station is Französische straße. I pick this because if you go there you see the center of Berlin. There is lots of shops, restaurants and other types of stores. If you walk for couple of minutes you can go the “Dussmann das Kulturkaufhaus” this is the one of biggest bookstore I ever seen before. If you are a booklover just like me you must go there :)

Dusmann KulturKaufHaus

Let’s go to the Olympiastadion. It is the home field for Herta Berlin. If you like football matches or atmosphere buy a ticket for Herta’s game. There is a really good stadium and also atmosphere if you don’t want to buy a ticket just go to the stadium and before the game drink with German people :)

Next station is Kreuzberg. Kreuzberg is a Turkish neighbourhood in Berlin. If you go there you will see to many sign write in Turkish but If you never try any Turkish food or drink or you just wonder about Turkish culture you can go Kreuzberg I think you can find too many Turkish thing in there. As a Turkish person I visited there for 1–2 times I couldn’t give any detail advices because of that.

Let’s look for one of my favourite places in Berlin. It’s called “Flughafen Tempelhof” .This is an empty airport in Berlin. If you will go Berlin in spring or summer time you can buy a few things from shops and go there. You can feel the enjoy of sun and fresh air.

For this essay our last station is Brandenburger Tor. If you are a tourist you can find this advices almost every search in Google. It is the most touristy part of Berlin.
